Bejeweled Blitz Rising Star Rare Gems
Rising Star is a limited Rare Gem in Bejeweled Blitz. It is a yellow gemstone that resembles a five-pointed star. This Rare Gem was created as a way to promote Bejeweled Stars.
When the player begins a game with Rising Star activated, one of two special starting layouts appears. Both configurations include unique yellow gems that resemble five-pointed stars. A star functions identically to a Flame Gem, except a star clears 13 gems in a 5×5 five-pointed-star-shaped pattern instead. A star, when cleared from the board, also changes nearby red and purple gems to yellow; Flame Gems transformed by this effect become stars.
The base value for clearing a star is 1,250 points.
